Irridescent Moss Silk Taffeta Draped Halter Ballgown

I have to admit that at first I thought the model was gorgeous. It was then that I found that she is no prettier than the wedding gown. Vera Wang did it again. Alright, I did not just say Vera Wang is brilliant in finding models who are so so in appearance to easily show the beautiful design of her wedding dresses collection. It after all needs a model to present the dresses.

The above masterpiece is called irridescent moss silk taffeta draped halter ballgown with bustled skirt. There seems to be some difficult vocabulary here.

Iridescent Taffeta : Crisp, lustrous fabric with a subtle iridescent(shimmering) look.

Halter : A neckline featuring straps that wrap around from the front and connect at the back.

Ball Gown : The ball gown is a classic shape with a fitted bodice and very full skirt that brushes the floor. The pick-up skirt is a modern interpretation of this silhouette.

Bustle : A train is gathered and elegantly attached to the back of the dress to make it easier to walk or dance. Many brides a bustle for the reception.

Champagne Taffeta & Tulle Strapless Ballgown

This is another of the very special wedding dresses kept in Vera Wang collection. We have savored the purple double faced satin wool strapless sweetheart mermaid and magenta silk duchess shift, now we are having this delicious champagne taffeta & tulle strapless ballgown with cuff neckline and tulle insert. Yummy~

Taffeta : A medium weight fabric with varying sheen used in bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses and prom gowns.

Tulle : A sheer to semi-sheer net fabric often used for skirts and veils. Can also be used as an underskirt to create fullness.

I suggest cool brides should take this wedding dress because the style and champagne color will well reflect the characteristic. Your coolness would certainly blend in with the great sense of Vera Wang.
